All rentals include an instrument, case and all necessary accessories.
During the rental period, all items rented remain the property of Blackbird Music.
Rental fees shall be payable monthly, in advance of each month. Payment will be made by automatically charging credit or debit card listed below. It is the Customer’s responsibility to inform Blackbird Music of any changes to credit or debit card numbers or expiration dates before payment is due.
Contract is terminated upon satisfactory return of all items on rental contract and payment of past due rent and damage fees or deductibles.
REPAIR & MAINTENANCE:
Blackbird Music must perform all repair or maintenance to items listed on this contract.
Parties listed as “Customer” are responsible for all damage to, or loss of, items on this contract. Normal wear and tear is covered at no charge.
RENTAL DISCOUNT PURCHASE:
In the event the Customer shall buy from Blackbird Music any instrument of equal or greater value than the rental instrument, while this rental contract is in good standing, there shall be applied upon the purchase price thereof a credit of 100% of the rental charges already paid, not to exceed the purchase price of the new instrument.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS:
It is agreed that the Customer shall notify Blackbird Music as to any change of address.
PAST DUE ACCOUNTS:
A late charge of $5.00 per month may be charged on all accounts that are 10 days or more past due. Failure to return a rental outfit 30 days or more past due may result in the account being turned over to a collection agency with purchase price added to past due account balance, and/or it may result in repossession of the rental outfit plus charge of all rental fees and late charges apply, and/or it may result in criminal prosecution. A repossession charge or $100.00 plus any legal or collection fees necessary to recover said rental outfit will be charged.
CREDIT & DEBIT AUTHORIZATION:
The Customer authorizes Blackbird Music to prepare and submit charges using any of the below listed charge cards and debit accounts to recover all charges and other unpaid amounts owed.
